LIfe and Your Children

Isn't it interesting to observe your children. As babies, how quickly they learn to control you...like crying all the time except when you hold them....then they learn to share...they are like little sponges learning all the things that you and Life has to teach them until they become young adults at which time they think they know so much more than you. They have their jobs, families and friends. You may find yourself placed on the back burner of their lives...only to hear "Mom, we already talked once this week...you act like we havent' talked in a month!" Sometimes they get your love for them mixed up with the words "being noisey" You quitely observe and wonder what they will have to endure as time goes on. Laughter, hurts, peace, acceptance, etc. They are so very busy with their families and jobs...all the while life is zooming by and before you know it....you have grown old and they are well on their way to maturity! I am so lucky to have a Mom that is noisey enough to care about me more than once a week, month or year and I with her....and I see it as love!!! We are in each others lives because we love and respect each other! Yes, isn't life interesting! God is good in all things!

Christain Business

Isn't it wonderful when a company that provides home remodeling, maintenance, painting and landscaping to the public also has a short Bible study and prayer first thing each morning for their employees? I am amazed at the work God is doing and the people that he is employing to do His work too!!!

Laundry Events

Well..wouldn't you know it...the washing machine is singing a dirty tune....the grinding and absolutely no swirling and sloshing anymore...water goes in...water goes out...it is 12 years old so probably time to get a new one. My friend got a pair of those fancy new ones that make you feel like you should dress up to do the laundry and she named the "Thelma and Louise"....don't think I am going to be able to go that route. After all..laundry is just that... laundry.. I am off to hunt for something that is efficient....I have "Dirty Laundry"...as the song says...LOL Update to the Laundry Blog. We bought a Samsung washing machine and base. It is the "Bomb". We found it at Lowe's in the "scratch and dent" isle. There was not a scratch or dent on it. Lucky us. She really is a great machine...

Our Cats

Angle and "Little China are our extended family or should I say we are their extended family....they seem to rule the house instead of us....Angle is a white flame point...very soft fur and the sweetest personality...while on the other hand "Little China" has the nickname of "bitch kitty" for a very good reason...she is the runt with a hug amount of "ATTITUDE". She is the first to eat in the morning ..while Angle just sits and waits for her to finish...she jumps up on things and knocks the plants off...dirt flying everywhere and just sits there daring me to say anything...ha ha Oh well ...we see who rules in our house...they do!

I will be attending the first airing and celebration for this event tonight at the Enterprise Mill...cocktails, champangne and cake...oh what fun....tune in and see if you see anyone you may know....fun for all.

Mom's Birthday

Today is my Mother's Birthday....what a very special day it is because she is the most wonderful person in the world. I am so lucky to have her....she has taught me so much and both Tony (my husband) and I love being around her...hope she catches lots of fish today!!!! She does love to fish! Happy Birthday Mom!

They have a peace sign chalk wall, among other new ones, but they are also making vinyl dry erase boards. And the new Holiday mini is fabulous! Chalk wall place mats for the kids table at Thanksgiving, new stationery, Mr. Bones for Halloween can be removed and reused next year! Iron on transfers.......I think I need some Oxygen!!! These things will sell themselves!

I better get my new catalogs ordered but until then visit me online next week to see everythingh.
